Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily functions of Tsungutivi Town Board.
  • Advise and service the Town Board.
  • Coordinate Town Board Meetings.
  • Manage Town Board assets.
  • Provide services (Planning, Roads, Building, Water, Refuse Collection, and Solid Waste Management).
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Budget Formulation, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Promote growth and development of Tsungutivi.
  • Optimally use the Town Board Revenue.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Social Science Degree (2.1 class in Local Government, Public Admin, HR, Finance, Accounting, Law) or equivalent.
  • Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Local authority experience and membership of recognized professional body added advantage.
  • At least 30 years of age. Clean Class 4 driver's license.
  • 3 years post-graduate experience in middle management in Local Government. Clean record.
