Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement organizational procurement policies and processes.
• Provide expert advice to management and key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, direction, and effective management of procurement staff.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance for cost savings/efficiency.
• Lead initiatives focused on sustainability and responsible sourcing.
• Identify and manage supply chain/procurement risk.
• Manage projects (e.g., construction, protracted ICT projects).
• Establish performance standards for procurement staff evaluation.
• Interpret procurement statutes and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships (Contractors, PRAZ, Public Works).
• Oversee and facilitate the tender process and bid adjudication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, SCM, or Business Admin. (Master's is prerequisite).
• Professional certification in procurement (CIPS or equivalent) is prerequisite.
• At least 5 years of progressive procurement experience, with 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of legislation and international best practices.
