Position Overview
Reporting to the Administrative Assistant, the HEEP Office Cleaner / Orderly will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and orderly environment within the project's premises to ensure a safe and pleasant work space for staff and visitors. The incumbent shall also ensure cleanliness of offices and timely delivery of mail and office supplies to recipients. The Office Orderly shall also perform a variety of office support duties as may be required.
Objectives
To provide daily cleaning services that meet the project's hygiene standards and support a healthy working environment.
Scope of Work
The Office Cleaner / Orderly will perform, but not be limited to, the following tasks:
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
- Dust and wipe desks, chairs, and office equipment.
- Clean windows, glass partitions and doors.
- Empty and sanitize waste bins.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish toiletries.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen or tea areas.
- Report any office maintenance or repair needs.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly.
- Ensure clean surrounding driveways.
- Ensure refuse collection by the Municipality on a weekly basis.
- Collect and distribute office supplies.
- Prepare and serve refreshments.
Deliverables
- Office areas cleaned daily before working hours.
- Restrooms and kitchen areas cleaned and restocked as needed.
- Monthly cleaning supplies usage report.
- Set up meeting areas and deliver internal mail and any such office supplies.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Duration and Working Hours: Contract period: One (1) year.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 Ordinary Level passes including English Language at grade C or better.
- Proven experience in office cleaning or similar role, a minimum of three years.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills.
Health and Safety
- Adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
- Use protective gear where necessary.
