Engineering Services Manager

Responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating engineering services within the Authority.
• Planning, designing, supervising, and monitoring water supply, dam, irrigation, and sanitation infrastructure projects.
• Supervising maintenance and rehabilitation of water infrastructure and equipment.
• Preparing technical reports, budgets, project plans, and feasibility studies.
• Providing technical advice to management and stakeholders on engineering matters.
• Managing departmental staff performance, training, and development.
• Liaising with government departments, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Water Resources Mgmt or equivalent.
• Master's Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., Engineering Council of Zimbabwe).
• Minimum 5 years' relevant post-qualifying experience, preferably in the water sector.
• Strong knowledge of water infrastructure development and project management.
• Proficiency in engineering software packages is an added advantage.
• Good leadership, communication, and report writing skills. Clean Class 4 driver's licence.
