Research and Energy Efficiency Engineer

Key Functions:

• Managing and co-ordinating energy efficiency projects/programmes.
• Assist in developing energy efficiency codes, standards, and regulations.
• Identifying, investigating and implementing pilot projects.
• Enforcement of minimum energy performance standards.
• Assist in concept development and formulation of energy Research projects.
• Advising/educating consumers on efficient use of energy.
• Assist in energy data analytics and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years hands-on experience (2 years at mid-managerial level within Energy sector).
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) qualification.
• Energy efficiency and energy management knowledge essential.
• Master's degree in a relevant area is an added advantage.
